Dr. Paul Kramer is a specialist in brain cancer treatment, spinal surgery, and angiomas. He is the Head of the Neurosurgery Department at Asklepios Nord Clinic and is a world-renowned expert in intraoperative MRI. He has a degree in general medicine from the University of Innsbruck and The University of Kiel, and a specialty in neurosurgery from Heidelberg University Hospital. Dr. Kramer is also actively involved in developing new microsurgical techniques and studying chemiluminescence for laser-induced fluorescence diagnostics and chemotherapy of malignant tumors.
Prof. Dr. med. Bodo Lippitz is a specialist in the Gamma Knife treatment of benign and malignant brain tumours and of arterio-venous malformations, with 30 years of clinical experience. He has had extensive training in stereotactic and microsurgical techniques, and has been the Director of the Karolinska Gamma Knife Center, Co-Director of the Bupa Cromwell Hospital Gamma Knife Centre, and Professor of Neurosurgery at the University Aachen, and President of the European Gamma Knife Society.
