Professor Dina Ben-Yehuda is a leading oncohematologist in Israel. She directs the Hematology Department at Hadassah Medical Center. She founded the laboratory for molecular diagnostics of blood diseases. She is known for her research in malignant blood diseases, bone marrow transplantation, gene therapy, and immunology.
Prof. Ben-Yehuda completed her postgraduate training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She has led Hadassah’s hematology department since 2000. In 2017, she became the first woman to serve as Dean of the Hadassah School of Medicine. She has received the Danielle Sonnenfeld Foundation’s Healing with the Heart Award.
