Cemil Bilir

Cemil Bilir is a professor of medical oncology at VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital. He specializes in clinical, gynecologic, and breast oncology. He holds memberships in the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Specialization and Oncology Approach

Dr. Bilir treats a broad spectrum of cancers. He treats lung, breast, prostate, and testicular cancers. He also treats gynecological malignancies like ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancer. He uses systemic therapies to improve patient outcomes.

These methods include immunotherapy and targeted therapy. Additionally, he provides chemotherapy for bladder cancer and various sarcomas.

Dr. Bilir has held several senior academic and clinical roles in Turkey. He is a Professor at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine. He later spent a year at Northeastern University in Boston from 2016 to 2017. During this time, he worked at the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine.

He continues scientific development as a Ph.D. student in inorganic chemistry.
