Dr. Aferin treats conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. He performs surgical treatment for localized prostate cancer and muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The doctor utilizes the Da Vinci robotic system to perform precise prostatectomies and nephrectomies. This technology allows for smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, and faster patient recovery.

He also treats complex cases of testicular torsion and high-flow priapism in children. Testicular torsion is a surgical emergency where the spermatic cord twists and cuts off blood supply to the testicle.
