Prof. Carlo Pappone is the Head of the Operative Unit of Clinical Arithmology and the Electrophysiology Laboratory at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan and an experienced Fellow in numerous international cardiology societies. Dr. Jacopo Peccatori is the Head of Bone Marrow Transplant Department in San Raffaele Scientific Institute and one of the top lymphoma doctors. He has been in this position since 2006 and has written over 70 studies on allogeneic bone marrow transplantation, acute leukemia, and multiple myeloma. He has a degree in general medicine from the University of Milan and specialties in internal medicine and haematology and is a member of The European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation and The Italian Group for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cell Therapies.

Professor Fabio Ciceri is the Head of the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit at San Raffaele Research Hospital and the Blood Transfusion Centre. Professor Riccardo Rosati is the Head of the Gastrointestinal Surgery (GI) Department at the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan, Italy. He is a highly experienced surgeon with over 30 years of experience, having completed medical degrees in general medicine and general surgery, as well as specialization in thoracic surgery. He is a member of multiple surgical associations, and has written over 300 publications. His department treats approximately 2,000 surgical cases per year.

Doctor Oreste Gentilini is an Italian specialist in breast cancer treatment with over 20 years of experience, providing over 5,000 breast cancer surgeries. He is the head of the Breast Unit in San Raffaele Hospital and the SOUND study at the European Institute of Oncology of Milan. He is a Visiting Professor at the George Washington University, has a degree in Otorhinolaryngology and Neurosurgery from the University of Milan and University of Verona, and has patented a method of manufacturing a device for regenerating biological tissues. Dr. Giorgia Mangili is the Head of the Medical Gynecological Oncology Group at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute Hospital since 2002. She has a degree in general medicine and specialties in gynecology and obstetrics, oncology, and is an Associate and Professor in obstetrics and gynecology. She focuses her work on gynaecological oncology, rare gynaecological tumours, preservation of fertility in oncology and cancer and pregnancy. She is a member of the European Organisation for Treatment of Trophoblastic Diseases, the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, and the Italian Society of Gynecologic Oncology.

Professor Massimo Candiani is a renowned gynecologist with over 30 years of experience and a specialist in endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, infertility, sexually transmitted diseases and urinary incontinence. He is also a co-founder and vice president of the Italian Endometriosis Association and a member of several professional organizations.

Prof. Montorsi is one of the top Italian experts in Urology and Andrology, with numerous scientific awards and 8,000+ urology/andrology surgeries. He directs the Urological Research Institute (URI) in Italy, is recognized among the most influential researchers of the past decade, and has developed his vein patching method to correct occlusive vein dysfunction. Associate Professor of Thoracic Surgery with European Board qualifications. Head of mini-invasive thoracic surgery unit, specializing in the treatment of lung and pleural diseases and mediastinal disorders. Member of Italian Society of Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Endoscopy, as well as author of a monograph and over 200 scientific publications.

She performs interventions for the establishment of distal arteriovenous fistulas in collaboration with the vascular surgeon and autonomously performs procedures of tunneled CVC placements for the execution of the dialysis treatment.

Collaborates with intensive care units and coronary arteries for continuous dialysis treatments (CRRT) in patients with acute renal failure and chronic dialysis patients.

She manages the Centre of clinical nephrology and dialysis at San Donato Hospital with particular interest in conservative therapy and pre-dialysis.

After receiving his Medical Degree, Board Certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and PhD in Basic and Applied Immunology, Dr. Della Torre worked for 3 years in the United States at the “Ragon Institute of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Harvard Medical School” in Boston. Thanks to a Cariplo Foundation research grant, Dr. Della Torre returned to Italy in 2018 and established his lab within the Division of Genetic and Cell Biology of San Raffale Hospital (Milan, Italy).

Dr. Della Torre is now Assistant Professor of Rheumatology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and Senior Consultant at the Unit of Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergy, and Rare Disease (UnIRAR) of San Raffaele Hospital.

Dr. Della Torre authored more than 100 scientific publications on international peer-reviewed journals and achieved prestigious awards such as the Collegio Ghislieri and the Cariplo Foundation awards for young researchers, the TRIDEO award, the MyFirst AIRC research grant, and the Career Research Grant Award from the FOREUM Foundation.

With his seminal works Dr. Della Torre contributed to the characterization of a novel autoimmune disease known as “IgG4-related disease” and is currently considered “World Expert of IgG4-related disease” by the prestigious Expertscape platform.

Dr. Della Torre is the Disease Coordinator of the IgG4-related disease European working group of the European Reference Network (ERN) on Rare Connective Tissue and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ReCONNET).

Up to September 2022, his scientific publications received more than 6000 citations with an H-index of 35.

Dr. Della Torre presented his studies in different national and international immune-rheumatologic congresses, organized a number of scientific meetings, and co-authored 10 medical books.
