She earned her MD at the Catholic University of Honduras and has an Obesity Medicine post-graduate degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She continued into a Masters in Applied Nutrition with a focus on research at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City where her commitment to staying up-to-date and her passion for evidence-based medicine grew fonder.
