Born in Mucur district of Kırşehir, Firdevs Seyfe Şen completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Kırşehir and then entered Adana Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. After graduating in 1993, she started to work as a general practitioner in Kırşehir province Kaman district No. 1 health center to do her compulsory service. After 1 year, he was assigned to Kırşehir State Hospital Emergency Department. Then he assumed the duty of Kırşehir Provincial Health Directorate Mental and Mental Health Branch Directorate. In 1996, he became a specialty student at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Mental Health and Diseases with TUS. Born in 1976 in Dashoguz, Turkmenistan,  Prof. Serdar Nurmedov graduated from Trabzon Kanuni Anatolian High School in 1996 and Karadeniz Technical University in 2002. In the same year, he started working as a research assistant at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a Psychiatry Specialist in 2009. After becoming a specialist, he worked at NPISTANBUL hospital until 2015 and during this time he took an active role in the establishment of Turkey's first private Addiction Treatment Center. Between 2015 and 2023, he held various positions in Acıbadem Health Group and received the title of Associate Professor in Psychiatry in 2019.

Since the most important factor in his choice of psychiatry is his interest in addiction and related problems, he has done a significant part of his scientific research in this field since the first days he started working as a research assistant.
