Dr. Buse Cagla Ari, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology. She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, headache disorders, sleep disorders, and dementia. She works at Istanbul Medipol University and the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER). She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Bahcesehir University.

Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease biomarkers, cognition, uric acid and cholesterol associations, restless legs syndrome, and complex headaches. This includes a 13-patient case series. She has published 15 international and 4 Turkish papers and 5 book chapters. Her work has 147 citations on Google Scholar (h-index 5) and 91 citations on Web of Science (h-index 5).

She is a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society, the International Headache Society, and the Turkish Parkinson’s Disease Society. She serves as a peer reviewer for SAGE Open Medical Case Reports, BMC Neurology, and Parkinsonism & Related Disorders.

Dr. Inci Emekli is a neurologist at PARMER, Istanbul Medipol University (2025–). She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. She completed her neurology residency at Istanbul University (2015–2020). She then completed a neurology fellowship at Karabuk University (2020–2023) and movement disorders training at Michigan State University (2023–2024).

Her publications include an accepted article in Movement Disorders on the Head Snap Sign, a 2024 World Neurosurgery article on gender inequality in leadership, and a 2021 Parkinsonism & Related Disorders paper on hereditary Parkinson’s in Turkey. She delivered an oral presentation in 2022 on COVID‑19’s impact on carpal tunnel surgery. She also co‑authored a neurology chapter on hyperlipidemia in 2021.

Dr. Salih Taskin is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. He also focuses on gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery. He works at Memorial Göztepe Hospital in Istanbul (2025–present). He previously served in Gynecologic Oncology (2014–2025) and in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2002–2025) at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.

Accreditations include ESGO Certified Specialist in Gynecologic Oncology (2018) and a fellowship in robotic surgery and gynecologic oncology at McGill University (2014). He completed an OB‑GYN residency at Ankara University and earned his MD at Çukurova University (both 1995–2001).

He is a member of the Turkish Society of Gynecologic Oncology; the Society of Robotic Gynecologic Surgery; the Society of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Oncology; the Federation of Women’s Health Associations; IGCS; ESGO; ESGE; and SERGS. Dr. Nezih Onur Ermerak is a Thoracic Surgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–). He previously worked in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Marmara University (2009–2025). He also served at Kilis State Hospital during compulsory service and war surgery (2015–2017).

He completed a Thoracic Surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis (2019–2020). He then completed a Thoracic & Esophageal Surgery fellowship at Dalhousie University (2020–2022). Dr. Mehmet Altug Tuncer is a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–present). He has been Head of Cardiovascular Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine since 2018. He has served as an Instructor at Kartal Koşuyolu since 2013. He directed the Aortic Surgery Center there from 2016 to 2018.

He became Professor in 2018 at Istanbul Okan University. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2013. He earned his MD at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa. He completed cardiovascular surgery training at Koşuyolu. His work includes 38 SCI/SCI-E papers, 19 national articles, and one book.

He is Chairman of the Aortic Surgery Working Group of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association. He also belongs to the Society of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
