Prof. Dr. Yasef began his medical education at Istanbul University in 1973 and graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1979. He started his specialization in neurology at the same university in 1980 and became a neurologist in 1985. During his specialty training, he spent 6 months at Hacettepe University in the Neurology Department in Ankara.

After becoming a neurologist, he completed 3.5 years of obligatory government service, spending the first 1.5 years at the Iskenderun Navy Hospital and the next 2 years at Diyarbakır Social Security Hospital. He returned to Istanbul University in 1989.

Prof. Dr. Yasef worked abroad in the United States from 1990 - 1991, focusing on dementia and behavioral neurology.

In 1994, he became an Associate Professor and continued working at Istanbul University until 1999. Between 1999 - 2002, he worked at Florence Nightingale Hospital, and then at Kozyatağı Acıbadem Hospital from 2004 to 2013.

Since 2013, he has been a valuable part of the team at Florence Nightingale Hospital.

Dr. Ali Osman Mucuoglu is a neurosurgeon. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Dokuz Eylül University from 2013 to 2019 after graduating from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2012 (2005–2012). He worked at Dokuz Eylül University and Muş State Hospital from 2019 to 2021. He has practiced at Atlas University Hospital since 2021.

He has five publications. These include a case report in the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports that has been cited seven times. He also reported on 3D printer‑assisted transsphenoidal hypophysectomy and on emergency minimally invasive intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) surgery. He delivered an oral presentation at the 33rd Turkish Neurosurgical Society Congress in 2019.

He is a member of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society, the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, and the Istanbul Chamber of Medicine. Dr. Gulnar Ibrahimova, MD, is a neurologist at Istanbul Medipol University. She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. She graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2008. She completed her neurology training at Istanbul University in 2017.

Prof. Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz, who is still working within the staff of Medipol University, managed the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Unit of the Department of Neurology during her working time and plans Deep Brain Stimulation therapy applications with the neurosurgical team.

Since September 2018, she has been working as a coordinator for student education in the 5th semester of Neurology. Dr. Tara Rak-areekul is a neurologist focused on cognitive neurology. She is a fellow at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. She completed her neurology residency there and served as Chief of Academic in 2023. She holds an MD from Chulalongkorn University (Second Class Honors) and a Higher Graduate Diploma in Clinical Sciences. She is certified in NIHSS (2022) and the Thai Stroke Society Acute Stroke Treatment Course.

Key achievements include first rank in the National Formative Neurological Exam (2023). She won the Epilepsy Quiz Tournament (2023). She was first runner-up at the Neurology Tournaments at NST Midyear 2023 and the Chula Neuroscience Forum 2022. Her research includes AAIC poster presentations (2024, 2025). Ongoing work covers Alzheimer’s biomarkers (MDS‑OAβ and p‑tau217), the Thai clinical adaptation of HippoCamera, and a chapter on behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).
