Today, Professor Rifaat Safadi is an outstanding specialist in the field of liver disease treatment, a member of the committee for the development of the somatic cell transplant center and the head of the liver disease unit at Hadassah Medical Center. The professor is a member of several international associations for the study of the liver and is the author of numerous articles in his specialty. Professor Safadi is a member of the editorial board of the scientific medical journal Clinical Science.

Rifaat Safadi is a laureate of many scientific awards. In particular, he has been repeatedly awarded the Hadassah Prize for studying the process of immune modulation of liver fibrosis using mRNA. For achievements in the same field, the professor received the Sharon Donsky and the Israeli Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology awards.

Dr. Moni Shuvi is an Interventional Cardiologist at Hadassah Medical Center. He specializes in Valvular Heart Disease, with a focus on Mitral Valve interventions. Dr. Shuvi is known for his skills in PCI, Myocardial Infarction management, and Coronary Angiography.

He has performed more than 2,000 interventional procedures. His work has helped reduce patient complications. Dr. Shuvi is certified by top cardiology boards. He also takes part in international research on structural heart interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professor Simon completed his medical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He completed his residency and further training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hadassah University Hospital Ein Kerem.

Advanced training in the areas of gamete micromanipulation, laparoscopic surgery and reconstructive pelvic surgery for patients with gynecologic oncology diseases in leading clinics in Europe and the USA.

Today, Professor Alex Simon directs the IVF Center at Hadassah University and also holds an academic position as Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Michael Lotem leads the Melanoma and Cancer Immunotherapy Center at Hadassah Medical Center. He specializes in advanced immunotherapy for melanoma. He is known for his research on SLAM receptors and their role in anti-cancer immune responses. Dr. Lotem has published widely in leading medical journals.

He heads a multidisciplinary team that uses clinical data and patient samples to advance research. Under his leadership, the center has improved patient outcomes with new therapies. The center is now recognized as a leader in cancer immunotherapy.

Prof. Yigal Shoshan is an experienced neurosurgeon with over 20 years of practice based in Israel. He is the Head of the Neurosurgery Department at Hadassah Medical Center, has trained in the USA, and is a clinical researcher with publications in the field. He is a lecturer in Neurosurgery at Hebrew University Medical School, and a member of several medical and surgical societies.

Professor Zvi Israel is a renowned neurosurgeon and one of the best doctors in Israel according to Forbes. He is an expert in functional neurosurgery and has extensive experience in the treatment of chronic depression, tinnitus, epilepsy, and motor dysfunction. He is the director of the Functional and Restorative Surgery Unit at Hadassah Medical Center and has authored over 70 articles in neurosurgery. Professor Israel is a member of the Israeli Neurosurgical Society and the Israeli Society for Palliative Medicine.

Dr. Beatrice Uziely is an experienced cancer specialist, specializing in breast cancer, metastasis treatment, application of hormone and chemotherapy. She has been the Head of Oncology Department at Hadassah Medical Center since 2001. She holds a degree in biology and a degree in medicine from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as a specialty in oncology and radiation oncology. She is an author of 59 publications devoted to cancer research, has 11 grants, and is a member of multiple professional associations.

Dr. Tamar Jablonski-Perec is an oncologist at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. She holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences from the Hebrew University and has experience from the renowned Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She is the Head of Institute of Oncology, Head of Breast Cancer Treatment Center, and Professor of the Department of Oncology at the Hebrew University. She is a member of several international cancer communities and was awarded a scholarship from the Hadassah Medical School.

Professor Tamir Ben-Hur is a neurologist specializing in stem cell therapy for neurological disorders, regenerative medicine, and neuroimmunology. He has a degree in general medicine from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School and a specialty in neurology from Hadassah University Hospital. He is the Director of the Clinical Neurosciences Division at the Hadassah University Hospital at Ein Kerem and has written over 100 papers. He is a member of several organizations, including the Israel Neurological Association, the American Neurological Association, the International Society of Neuroimmunology, the American Academy of Neurology, and the Society for Neuroscience.

Doctor Shimon Reif is a highly experienced pediatric gastroenterologist in Israel, and is the Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Hadassah Medical Center. He has extensive experience treating liver and gastrointestinal tract illnesses in children, and is a WHO expert in the development of protocols for diagnosing and treating these conditions. Dr. Reif is the co-author of a novel method of non-malignant disease treatment and has published over 50 research articles on the subject. He is a member of various professional organizations such as the Israeli Pediatric Association, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
