Dr. Mehmet Cakici specializes in cardiovascular medicine and surgery. His interests include congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valve disease, aortic disease, peripheral vascular disease, and hypertension.

He has more than 30 international publications, including in Perfusion, Annals of Vascular Surgery, Interactive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, and The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. His research covers ECMO and mechanical circulatory support. He also studies valve surgery, aortic aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis, and minimally invasive techniques. He has published case reports and retrospective cohort studies. He has contributed to national guidelines and research protocols. He has joined international multicenter trials. He wrote chapters for the Atlas of Cardiac Surgery Operations and the Heart Valve Disease Guidelines. He has presented abstracts at ISHLT, EACTS, and TKDCD. He is a member of the National Society for Vascular Surgery, the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, ISHLT, and the Ankara Medical Chamber.

Dr. Baki Ozdemir is a specialist in rheumatology and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). He trained at Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He completed a PM&R residency at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital and a rheumatology residency at Gazi University Hospital.

He worked as a general practitioner at the Hudut Regiment in Kızıltepe, Mardin. He then served as a PM&R specialist at Erzurum Mareşal Çakmak Military Hospital and İzmir Hatay Military Hospital. He later worked as a rheumatology specialist at Ordu State Hospital.

He authored the article “Clinical outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with rheumatic disease and effects of the pandemic on rheumatology outpatient care: Single-center experience from Turkey.” He is a member of TRASD, the Turkish Society for Rheumatology Research and Combat.

Dr. Matben Volkan is an ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of practice. He has performed over 20,000 surgeries.

He graduated from Ege University School of Medicine (1986–1992). He completed his ophthalmology specialization at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital (1992–1996).

Dr. Mustafa Serkan Durdu is a cardiovascular surgeon at Memorial Ankara Hospital (2022–present). He previously worked at the Ankara University Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. His focus is minimally invasive valve surgery. He performs right anterior minithoracotomy, sutureless aortic valve replacement, multiple valve implantation, and combined valve surgery with right coronary artery bypass.

He has peer-reviewed publications in J Thorac Cardiovasc Surg, Thorac Cardiovasc Surg, Heart Lung Circ, Semin Thorac Cardiovasc Surg, and Cardiovasc Ther. His work includes studies on molecular signatures of chronic atrial fibrillation in primary mitral regurgitation. Dr. Atilla Ozenoglu is a thoracic surgery specialist. He completed medical school at Karadeniz University (1984–1990). He finished his thoracic surgery residency at Pamukkale University (2003–2009). He worked as a general practitioner from 1990 to 2003. He then served at Adıyaman State Hospital (2009–2014) and Gaziantep Medical Park (2014–2017). In 2017, he worked at Erzurum Regional Training and Research Hospital. He now works at Rize Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research Hospital. He serves as a thoracic surgery specialist and deputy chief physician.

Clinical expertise: lung resections (segmentectomy, lobectomy, pneumonectomy); VATS sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis; mediastinoscopy; VATS under local anesthesia; chest wall reconstruction with clip-plate implants; minimally invasive pectus surgery (Nuss, Abramson); diaphragmatic repair; diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy.
