He is a professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at University of Health Sciences and is a leading expert in Dr. Fatih Irmak Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Center since 2017. He is a member of various societies, including The Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, The Turkish Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, The Rhinoplasty Society of the USA, and The Rhinoplasty Society of Europe.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Türkaslan is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. He has published over 20 articles in international journals. He completed advanced training abroad, including at St James Seacroft University Hospital in the UK.

Dr. Türkaslan became an Associate Professor in 2010. He has worked at Bezmialem University and Istanbul Yavuz Selim Hospital.
