Prof. Dr. Beyza Hancıoğlu Kırcelli
Dr. Kırcelli graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1997. After completing her PhD program in orthodontics at Çukurova University in 2003, she started to practice at Başkent University Adana Medical and Research Center. In 2004 she was appointed as full-time academic staff at Başkent University and in 2009 she received associate professor degree. In 2010 she started her own private practice, partnered with her prosthodontist husband. Since then, she has a busy clinic in Adana. Dr. Kırcelli appointed as professor at the Istanbul Aydin University in 2021; she lectured and supervised PHD students of orthodontics for two years. Dr. Kırcelli is currently lecturing as a professor at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Dentistry, Head of the Department of Orthodontics. Also, provides orthodontic treatment services at BAU Dental Hospital for orthodontic patients.
Dr. Kırcelli is a member of American Orthodontic Association, World Federation of Orthodontists, Turkish Orthodontic Society, Lingual Orthodontic Society-TR, Turkish Aligner Society. In addition, she is a titular member of European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO) since 2016. She received the titular member title according to presentation of five completed lingual cases with one year follow-up results to the scientific board of ESLO. Dr. Kırcelli received the “Best Speaker of the Session” prize at the 11th ESLO congress held in Como, Italy in 2014; and at the 12th ESLO congress in Athens, Greece in 2016, respectively.
Dr. Kırcelli is an active user of the Incognito Lingual System since 2007 and has been involved in the “Incognito Key Opinion Leadership” founded by 3M. She is a qualified educator and certificate provider of the IncognitoTM Lingual Appliance System since 2013. She gave certification courses and several lectures nationally and internationally for lingual orthodontics (hidden braces) with the Incognito Appliance System.
Dr. Kırcelli is also a provider for Invisalign clear aligner system since 2019. Since then, she mainly practices with clear aligners for all age groups comprising growing patients and adults. In 2021 she received Invisalign Diamond Provider title from Align Technology according to the number of patients started with Invisalign in that year.
Dr. Kırcelli’s area of interests are esthetic orthodontic applications with clear aligners and lingual appliances; also, orthodontics combination with orthognathic surgery, use of temporary anchorage devices (miniscrews-miniplates) in orthodontics, temporomandibular joint focused orthodontics and digital dentistry.
