Prof. Dr. Birol Baytan is a respected pediatric hematologist. He focuses on diagnosing and treating childhood cancers, leukemia, anemia, and bleeding disorders. He graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1992. He completed his specialization at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Diseases.

Afterwards, he worked as a faculty member at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital and Istinye University (Istinye University Bahçeşehir and Liv Hospital Vadistanbul) and is currently working at Biruni University Hospital. Dr. Rafet Eren is a member of Turkish Society of Hematology, Hematology Specialty Society and European Society of Hematology and speaks English fluently. He has around 50 publications in national and international refereed journals.
