On his return from London, he organized and directed the Arrhythmia Unit of the Cardiology Service of the Nuestra Señora del Pino University Hospital in Las Palmas until the year 2000.

Later he was associate head of the Arrhythmia Unit and Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory of the Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid.

Dr. Batur Gonenc Kanar is a leading cardiologist with training from top European centers.
