Il medico è specializzato in psicoterapia con un focus sul trattamento della dipendenza da oppioidi. Come contributore chiave a uno studio prospettico sulla levometadone, il medico ha svolto un ruolo significativo nell'avanzamento della comprensione della sua sicurezza ed efficacia per il trattamento di mantenimento con oppioidi. Lo studio, noto come LEVOPROACT, ha coinvolto la collaborazione con diversi centri in tutta Italia e ha incluso contributi alla progettazione dello studio, alla raccolta dei dati e alla preparazione del manoscritto. I risultati preliminari hanno evidenziato un rapporto rischio/beneficio favorevole per la levometadone, in particolare nel suo impatto sull'intervallo QT e nella sua efficacia nel ridurre le voglie e l'uso di oppioidi.

Il medico è un oncologo radioterapista altamente esperto con 19 anni in radio-oncologia, specializzato in radioterapia 4D e IMRT per l'irradiazione tumorale ad alta precisione.
