Il medico ha ricevuto un'istruzione medica superiore presso l'Istituto Medico di Rostov sul Don, in Russia, e ha completato la residenza in chirurgia cardiotoracica presso l'Ospedale Beilinson in Israele, laureandosi con lode. Il medico ha una formazione estesa nella correzione e sostituzione delle valvole cardiache, avendo completato corsi avanzati in Austria, Belgio e Lituania. Professor Marek Ehrlich is a cardiac surgeon at University Hospital Vienna. He has led the hospital’s aneurysm program since 2010.
