Dr. Ilter Alkan is a Professor of Urology with broad experience at leading medical centers. He has worked at Memorial Bodrum Hospital and Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Alkan has served as a urology specialist in Turkey and abroad. He completed fellowships in laparoscopic urology and endourology at Krankenhaus der Elisabethinen in Austria. He also received advanced training at University College London.
Dr. Alkan earned his medical degree from Ege University and finished his residency at Marmara University. He later became an associate professor and then a full professor in urology. He is a member of the Endourological Society, Turkish Urological Association, SIU, and EAU.

The embolization of male varicocele is a minimally invasive procedure that Dr. Lupattelli performs with high competence. This procedure, performed as a day surgery, allows the patient to return home approximately one hour after treatment, with a rapid recovery and no scars.
