Dr. Osama Abdel Mohimen Mohamed is Head of the Hematology Unit at Shefaa Al Orman Oncology Hospitals. He is also a consultant in medical oncology and hematology at Shefa El Orman Hospital (NGO), Luxor (2019–present).

He diagnoses and treats acute and chronic leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. He also manages complications of solid tumors.

Prof. Amit Tirosh is a senior endocrinologist and Head of the Neuroendocrine Tumors Service at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

His work centers on hereditary NET syndromes. He is affiliated with the NIH in MEN1 research. He serves on an international VHL expert panel and helped write VHL management guidelines. He is the primary contact at Sheba’s multidisciplinary VHL clinic.

He leads the Endocrine Oncology Bioinformatics Lab. He collaborates with international teams, including the Weizmann Institute. He provides advanced NET care, including PRRT.

He earned his MD from the Hebrew University–Hadassah. He completed a residency at Assaf HaRofeh, an endocrinology fellowship at Rabin, and training at the NIH. He is board-certified in Endocrinology. He is a member of the Israeli Society of Endocrinology, the Endocrine Society, and the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society. Dr. Yuri Goldes is a general surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He specializes in upper gastrointestinal and oncologic surgery. He is Deputy Director of the Department of General Surgery and Transplantation at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv. He also leads the Upper GI Surgery Unit. He was named to Forbes Israel’s Best Doctors in 2025. He is ranked among Israel’s Best Gastrointestinal Surgeons by Forbes. Prof. Dr. Şebnem İzmir Güner was born in 1970 in Istanbul and took her first steps in her medical career at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Successfully completing her undergraduate and medical education here between 1987-1993, Güner received her internal medicine specialty training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine from 1995 to 2000. Deepening her interest in hematology, Prof. Dr. Güner completed her hematology subspecialty training at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine again between 2003-2006, solidifying her expertise in this field.
Prof. Dr. Güner’s professional journey began as an internal medicine specialist at Istanbul Education and Research Hospital from 2000 to 2003. She established the Hematology Clinic at the same hospital from 2006 to 2010 and served as the responsible physician. Here, she developed innovative approaches in the treatment of patients and made significant contributions to the field of hematology. From 2010 to 2016, she established the Hematology Clinic, Therapeutic Apheresis, and Adult Bone Marrow Transplantation Center at Medicalpark Bahçelievler Hospital and served as the responsible physician. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuzhan BABACAN completed his undergraduate, specialty and sub-specialty education at GATA Military Medical Faculty/Ankara. After becoming a specialist in Pediatrics, he worked in the field of Social Pediatrics for two years, where Healthy Baby Monitoring and vaccine follow-up were carried out. Then, she completed her subspecialty training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and continued her studies in the field of pediatric blood and cancer diseases. In addition to the treatment of children suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors and other blood diseases, she has been working in the Bone Marrow Transplantation (Transplant) Unit for 13 years in Allogeneic (unrelated and intrafamilial), Autologous (from the patient himself) and Haploidentical (partially HLA compatible) hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. In 2018, he received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Science/Art.

Dr. Francesc Cobo Valien graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona in 1990.

He received his specialization in oncohematology at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona in 1995. He combined medical practice and research activities in the period 1996-2002.

He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Barcelona in 2002.
