Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdulcabbar Kartal is a distinguished colorectal and general surgeon practicing at Anadolu Medical Center in Istanbul. With over 17 years of surgical experience, he specializes in colorectal surgery, HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) for peritoneal cancers, bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive procedures.

Prof. Dr. Engin Tutar was born in Istanbul in 1964. He completed his primary and secondary education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi between 1975 and 1982, and graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1988. In December of the same year, he started his specialization in the Department of Pediatrics at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital, becoming a specialist in Pediatrics in February 1993. He completed his subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, becoming a subspecialist in 2006. Dr. Andrej Orságh is a gastroenterologist, certified in 2015. He has worked at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute (NOÚ) since 2016. Since 2019 he has been the institute’s specialist consultant for colorectal cancer screening. He leads the colorectal cancer screening working group of the Slovak Gastroenterological Society. He is vice-chair of its Endoscopy Section and chair of its Oncology Section.

Dr. Boris Pekárek is a gastroenterologist. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava in 2002. He worked at the Internal Medicine Clinic in Trnava from 2002 to April 2010. He obtained his specialization in gastroenterology in 2008.

Since April 2010, he has worked at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute. He has led the department since 2017. He completed several specialized training courses abroad.
