La dottoressa Özden Gül è una chirurga generale, laureata presso la Facoltà di Medicina dell'Università di Istanbul, Cerrahpaşa. Ha completato la sua specializzazione in chirurgia generale presso l'ospedale di formazione e ricerca «Haydarpaşa Numune». Possiede una vasta esperienza chirurgica e parla fluentemente l'inglese.

La sua pratica copre la chirurgia degli organi gastrointestinali (malattie della cistifellea, ernie, appendicite, patologie gastrointestinali). Tratta anche le malattie endocrine (ghiandole tiroidee e paratiroidee, ghiandole surrenali) e le malattie della mammella, sia benigne che maligne. Fornisce assistenza in situazioni di emergenza e traumi. Esegue interventi chirurgici laparoscopici mininvasivi.

Ha lavorato presso il «Haydarpaşa Numune», «Bakırköy», «Taksim (ospedale di pronto soccorso)», gli ospedali pubblici di Uzunköprü e Keşan, il centro medico «Beykoz» e l'ospedale Medivia. È conosciuta per la sua tecnica meticolosa e l'orientamento al paziente.
