Professor Safadi is a member of the editorial board of the scientific medical journal Clinical Science.

Rifaat Safadi is a laureate of many scientific awards. In particular, he has been repeatedly awarded the Hadassah Prize for studying the process of immune modulation of liver fibrosis using mRNA. Professor Sung-Ho Kim, MD, MS, PhD, is a pediatric cardiologist and congenital heart disease specialist with more than 40 years of experience. He trained at Hanyang University College of Medicine (MD) and Hanyang University Graduate School (MS, PhD). He helped advance catheter-based treatment of ASD, VSD, tetralogy of Fallot, and other defects. This work reduced the need for open-heart surgery. He has performed more than 1,200 pediatric and congenital cardiac interventions.

He has led academic and clinical programs. He contributes to research and training. He also participates in professional cardiology societies and presents at international conferences.

Dr. Ertuğrul Ercan is a Professor of Cardiology. He completed his training at Ege University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His main areas of expertise are interventional cardiology, atherosclerosis, valve diseases, and coronary artery disease. He also focuses on inflammation and coagulation, cardiovascular immunology, and stem cell therapy.

Dr. Ercan has held key academic and administrative positions. He served as Head of Cardiology and Dean at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He was also the Medical Director at İzmir Medical Point Hospital. He gained international experience at the Cleveland Clinic and in Melbourne, Australia.

He is skilled in advanced interventional procedures. These include ASD, PDA, and VSD closure, EPS-ablation, ICD-CRT-D implantation, and percutaneous coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Humayun Kakar is a cardiologist. He earned his medical degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University between 2007 and 2014. He completed his cardiology residency at İzmir Dokuz Eylül University from 2015 to 2020. In 2024, he received advanced training in heart failure at the University of Zurich in Switzerland.
