Thanks to the professor and his team, the department has been modernised by introducing modern surgical methods of treatment and especially improved methods of post-operative recovery. The Department of Surgery at the Solingen Clinic is now further expanding its focus on minimally invasive surgery in the direction of robotics. The clinic has allocated a huge budget for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment in order to offer patients a full range of surgical methods for the treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the oesophagus, lungs, stomach, liver, pancreas and intestines according to current guidelines and using the most modern technical equipment.

Professor Schenker is an active researcher and lecturer. He lectures at medical universities and organises seminars and workshops for colleagues. He cooperates closely with the Cancer Centre, the Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Centre, the Intestinal Cancer Treatment Centre and the Interregional Trauma Centre.

Under his leadership, the hospital is actively expanding its services, including paediatric cardiology and intensive care, and is planning to establish an interdisciplinary center for parents and children on the basis of the Department of Paediatrics.

Dr. Propson's many years of experience have established him as a leading expert in neonatology and paediatric cardiology in Germany and Europe. His dedication and commitment to the highest level of care for young patients is reflected in his work. Dr. Propson's research and scientific publications demonstrate his in-depth knowledge and commitment to development in paediatrics.

For many years Dr. Propson worked as a leading physician in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Leverkusen Clinic in Leverkusen, Germany, where he was also responsible for managing the paediatric intensive care unit. Dr. Seymur Aslanov is a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He received advanced training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Dr. Aslanov diagnoses and treats many gastrointestinal diseases. His expertise includes inflammatory bowel diseases, digestive system cancers, liver and pancreatic diseases, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Dr. Mustafa Yavuz Samanci is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital in Istanbul. He has specialized training in stereotactic, functional, and pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Samanci completed a clinical fellowship in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. He has also finished advanced programs in spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. He has served on editorial boards and scientific committees. His work reflects significant contributions to academic neurosurgery and research.

Lee Sang‑Gu, MD, PhD, is the Honorary Director of Neurosurgery at Naeun Hospital. He treats spinal tumors and disorders. His work includes minimally invasive spine surgery, cervical spine conditions, head trauma, and disability and impairment evaluation.

Dr. Apisit Rattanasarn is an orthopaedic surgeon who focuses on foot and ankle disorders. He trained at major academic medical centers in Thailand.

He completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. He has broad experience in surgical and non-surgical care for degenerative disease, sports injuries, and post‑traumatic conditions.
