Dr. Cheon Won Seok is the Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Naeun Hospital. His expertise includes gastrointestinal diseases; upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy; polypectomy; ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection); small-bowel capsule endoscopy; digestive disorders; gastric and esophageal cancer; Helicobacter pylori infection; liver diseases; and inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

He graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Kyung Hee Medical Center and his internal medicine residency at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital. In 2007, I graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Medicine and received the title of “Medical Doctor”. In the same year, as a result of the TUS exam I took, I started my specialization training at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.

During my specialization training, in 2010, I worked as a guest doctor at “Lenox Hill Hospital, Aortic Wellness Center” in New York, USA, on aortic valve-preserving surgery, aortic root surgery, aortic arch surgery, thoracoabdominal aortic surgery and robotic heart surgery.

In 2013, I worked as a “fellow” at the “Landeskrankenhaus Salzburg, Paracelsus Universitätsklinik für Gefäßchirurgie und endovaskuläre Chirurgie” clinic in Salzburg, Austria, and conducted studies on endovascular and advanced vascular surgery techniques.

In 2013, I worked as a visiting physician at the “Vita-Salute University, Scientific Institute, Ospedale San Raffaele, dipartimento di chirurgia vascolare ed endovascolare” clinic in Milan, Italy, on endovascular techniques, advanced vascular techniques and surgical treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms.

In 2013, I completed my assistant training and earned the title of “Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist”.

As of 2014, I started working as a “Specialist Doctor” at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ondokuz Mayıs University.

In 2016, I received the title of “Assistant Professor Doctor”. In the same year, I received the “Certificate of Proficiency” issued by the “Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Qualification Board”.

In 2017, I worked as a visiting doctor for 3 months at the “Landeskrankenhaus Nürnberg, Paracelsus Universitätsklinik für Gefäßchirurgie und endovaskuläre Chirurgie” clinic in Nuremberg, Germany, on advanced endovascular (FEVAR, BEVAR, CHEVAR, EVAR, TEVAR) techniques in aortic diseases.

Dr. Alper Karaoglan is a Professor of Neurosurgery at Memorial Bodrum Hospital. He has many years of experience in neurosurgery. He worked at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine and Taksim Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. Since 2008, he has held the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in neurosurgery.

Dr. Karaoglan is a member of the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Neurosurgical Society. He has received several awards. These include the Best Paper Award at the Turkish Neurosurgical Society Scientific Congress in 2005 for his research on resveratrol’s protective effects after subarachnoid hemorrhage, and the Young Neurosurgeon Encouragement Award in 2008.

Dr. Kallayanee Porngometkul is a gastroenterologist and Head of the Obesity Center at Yanhee International Hospital. She treats gastrointestinal and liver diseases. She has experience in endoscopic weight-loss therapy, including stomach balloon placement. She is also a speaker on obesity.

She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.

She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Dr. Tara Rak-areekul is a neurologist focused on cognitive neurology. She is a fellow at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. She completed her neurology residency there and served as Chief of Academic in 2023. She holds an MD from Chulalongkorn University (Second Class Honors) and a Higher Graduate Diploma in Clinical Sciences. Somjet Tosamran, MD, is a neurologist. Dr. Tosamran is a fellow in epilepsy at the Neurology Division, Department of Medicine, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand (2024–present). Dr. Sirinda “Ning” Kittiprachakul is a board-certified physiatrist (Thai Board of Rehabilitation Medicine, 2025) at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. Her expertise includes geriatric rehabilitation, chronic pain management using Western dry needling, and electrodiagnostic and electromyographic studies.

Dr. Buse Cagla Ari, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology. She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, headache disorders, sleep disorders, and dementia. She works at Istanbul Medipol University and the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER). She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Bahcesehir University.

Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease biomarkers, cognition, uric acid and cholesterol associations, restless legs syndrome, and complex headaches. This includes a 13-patient case series. She has published 15 international and 4 Turkish papers and 5 book chapters. Her work has 147 citations on Google Scholar (h-index 5) and 91 citations on Web of Science (h-index 5).

She is a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society, the International Headache Society, and the Turkish Parkinson’s Disease Society. She serves as a peer reviewer for SAGE Open Medical Case Reports, BMC Neurology, and Parkinsonism & Related Disorders.

Dr. Inci Emekli is a neurologist at PARMER, Istanbul Medipol University (2025–). She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. She completed her neurology residency at Istanbul University (2015–2020). She then completed a neurology fellowship at Karabuk University (2020–2023) and movement disorders training at Michigan State University (2023–2024).

Her publications include an accepted article in Movement Disorders on the Head Snap Sign, a 2024 World Neurosurgery article on gender inequality in leadership, and a 2021 Parkinsonism & Related Disorders paper on hereditary Parkinson’s in Turkey. Asist. Prof. Dr. Paul Stanciu is a Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon and subspecialist in Gynaecological Oncology and Robotic Surgery. He has worked in Germany, Ireland, and the UK, including at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

He is the first gynaecologist worldwide accredited by SERGS to operate on two robotic platforms. He is among the few who perform complex minimally invasive procedures, including surgery for endometriosis and fertility-sparing surgery for young cancer patients.

His expertise includes the surgical treatment of benign and malignant gynaecological conditions. He is experienced in advanced laparoscopic surgery and uses innovative techniques published internationally.
