Dr. Humayun Kakar is a cardiologist. He earned his medical degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University between 2007 and 2014. He completed his cardiology residency at İzmir Dokuz Eylül University from 2015 to 2020. In 2024, he received advanced training in heart failure at the University of Zurich in Switzerland.

He has worked at İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Medical Point Hospital and Konya Cihanbeyli State Hospital. He also took part in advanced heart failure education at the University of Zurich.

Dr. Kakar is a member of several professional organizations. These include the European Society of Cardiology, Turkish Society of Cardiology, Heart Failure Association, American College of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Academy Association, and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).

Dr. Mustafa Dogdus is a cardiologist who graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He has broad experience in treating complex heart conditions. His expertise includes arrhythmias, atrial septal defect (ASD), atrial fibrillation, AVRT, AVNRT, bradycardia, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and structural heart diseases.

Dr. Ertuğrul Ercan is a Professor of Cardiology. He completed his training at Ege University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His main areas of expertise are interventional cardiology, atherosclerosis, valve diseases, and coronary artery disease. He also focuses on inflammation and coagulation, cardiovascular immunology, and stem cell therapy.

Dr. Cagdas Erdogan is a gastroenterologist at Ankara Etlik City Hospital. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his MD from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from 2014 to 2019. He then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Ankara City Hospital from 2019 to 2022. His clinical focus includes advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, POEM, EGD, colonoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy), inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.

He has about 40 publications. His work appears in The Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology, Scientific Reports, Endoscopy, and Digestive Diseases and Sciences. Notable studies address vedolizumab in IBD and prophylaxis for post-ERCP pancreatitis. He also reported a 13-year Crohn’s cohort comparing infliximab and adalimumab. Additional work covers outcomes with an adalimumab biosimilar and innovative endoscopic therapies (MCA via double-balloon enteroscopy, holmium laser for Bouveret syndrome, POEM for Zenker’s diverticulum, and ESD for esophageal papillomatosis).

Prof. Dr. Rifat Eralp Ulusoy is a cardiologist specialized in clinical cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging. He focuses on echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. He also treats heart valve disease, hypertension, heart failure, and cardiomyopathies. He has held academic and clinical roles at leading centers in Turkey and the United States. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology.

He has written more than 125 scientific papers and has over 1,400 citations. His clinical interests include heart tumors and cardiac care for cancer patients. He also works on cardiology in chronic kidney failure and dialysis. Other interests are heart disease in pregnancy, pericardial diseases, and heart valve infections.

His extensive training includes qualifications that award him the specialisation in endovascular techniques relating to angiology, such as the certification to manage vascular laboratories and X- ray facilities with medical purposes granted by the Medical Physics Spanish Association, as well as numerous training positions in national and international medical centres and hospitals in France, the UK and the USA.

Dr Gallardo Pedrajas combines his medical practice with his teaching position as an Assistant in the Surgery Studies of the Malaga University and the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS). Dr. Krishna Iyer is one of India's front ranking paediatric cardiac surgeons, recognised for his clinical expertise and wide ranging involvement with cardiac care for children in India and other developing nations, Dr. Iyer initiated the first dedicated paediatric cardiac care program in Northern India , a pioneering initiative, at Escorts Heart Institute Research Centre( now Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute ) in 1995. Under his guidance this paediatric cardiac program has become the benchmark for cardiac care for children for India and its South East Asian neighbours. Dr. Iyer has operated on more than 10,000 babies, children and adults with congenital heart diseases comprising various procedures like arterial switch procedure, double switch operation TAPVC repairs, Fontan and Fontan type procedures, corrections for tetralogy of Fallot, DORV, Truncus etc. Senning operation, conduit repairs and wide range of one stage and multi-stage corrections for complex congenital heart diseases. He has done original work on rapid two-stage arterial switch procedure and performed the first successful rapid two stage arterial switch and double-switch operation in India. His current interests are perfecting complex neonatal cardiac surgery, cardiac surgery in malnourished infants and children, salvaging late presenters of congenital heart disease, and developing cost effective cardiac care for children in developing countries. After basic training, he joined the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at AIIMS and was Additional Professor at the time he moved to Escorts Heart Institute to set up its paediatric cardiac care division. He trained in paediatric and infant cardiac surgery under the guidance of the renowned paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. R.B.B.Mee as Senior Fellow at the Department of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery at Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne in Australia in 1989. He is involved in many charities for underprivileged children, most notably the 'Gift of Life' program of Rotary International.
