Associate Professor Dr. Süleyman Tümen is a general and oncologic surgeon based in Istanbul. He has over 25 years of experience in Türkiye and Iraq. His work focuses on laparoscopic, cytoreductive, and gastrointestinal cancer surgery. He also performs HIPEC for peritoneal surface cancers. His most recent post was at Büyük Anadolu Hospital (BAHINTERNATIONAL). He previously served at Istanbul Oncology Hospital, Medicana Ataşehir, Taksim E&R Hospital, Bursa AOS Oncology Hospital, and Al Arabia Hospital in Iraq.
Accreditations include HIPEC, cytoreductive surgery training at the Milan Cancer Institute (2008), bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and breast/oncoplastic surgery. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Dokuz Eylül University.
