We are extremely thankful to all the hospital staff including the midwives, doctors anaesthesiologists and obstetricians who took care of the mother and the baby through this difficult journey.
Not once did we feel unattended or unheard despite being expats and that is a massive kudos in itself.
The campus itself is enough to make us feel cheerful :)
Would recommend the hospital to all expecting parents.

I dont know where to begin, so i'd just start this with 'THANK YOU'!
To everyone at this hospital, for making both my surgery (a very scary one for me) a tolerable experience and stay at the hospital a very pleasant experience. From the surgeons through to the nurses, physios and psychotherapists, i didnt think an hospital stay could be bearable needless say pleasant. I am impressed by the thoroughness in procedure, modernity of facilities and professionalism in application of those facilities, cleanliness, lecker food served with love, friendliness and smile in faces of everyone to assuage my post-op fears.
I will not forget in a hurry this few days in DRK and would give the hospital and every staff a 10-star rating if i could

The best hospital in Berlin for giving birth!
The doctors and the nurses and midwife’s are fantastic . I had a c section here 13 years ago and was amazed by the staff , so nice and friendly . Surgery went smoothly and super fast recovery time ! So decided to have my second child here again , 3 weeks ago . Again same experience. The midwives were absolutely amazing , the surgeon made a super job ! My c section scar healed perfectly and very fast ( had other surgeries in other hospitals where this was not the case ).
I totally recommend this hospital !!
Almost all of them speak English too which is a big bonus ! Thank you DRK for great staff and great birth experience!!!

We had an extremely distressing experience at the emergency room on March 6, 2025, around 10 a.m. Upon arrival, the receptionist treated us with shocking aggression, yelling at my wife for coming to the ER instead of visiting a general practitioner. My wife, already feeling unwell, was verbally mistreated to the point where she calmly asked for her documents back, stating, “I may be sick, but I won’t allow myself to be treated this way.”
We were eventually let through, as both my wife, my 1-year-old son, and I were all ill. Not being from Germany, we weren’t familiar with local procedures, but after a week of ongoing symptoms, going to the emergency room felt like the right decision. In our home country, we would never have been treated this way.
While we understand cultural differences, treating sick patients with basic humanity should be universal. I truly hope the hospital leadership never has to experience this kind of treatment themselves or with their loved ones. No one should.

Five stars to the wonderful professionals who helped deliver my baby. Particularly the midwife, who answered the door when I came ahead of my due date. She guided me through the relatively fast labour, knew when and how to act during difficult situations.
I'm taking one star off for two reasons:
1. Initial lactation guidance was too rushed
2. I paid for a family room, but I've been charged for one extra day although the staff made me believe that I wouldn't be charged for that day. If I knew they would charge me, I'd stay an extra night instead of rushing home.
One comment: there is no email on the website where I could write to clarify the payment situation.
