Luxmed Protez Clinic is a private prosthetics and orthotics center located in the Topkapı district of Istanbul, Turkey. Since 2016, the clinic has provided prosthetic and orthotic care for Turkish and international patients. The clinical team includes prosthetists certified by Ottobock (Germany) and Össur. The clinic also holds the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate issued by the Turkish Ministry of Health.

Treatment Process for International Patients

Treatment begins with a free online assessment based on photographs and medical records submitted via WhatsApp. Patients receive an itemized treatment estimate before travel. Where applicable, the clinic can provide documentation to support a medical visa application.

After arrival, the clinic assists with airport transfers and accommodation. Prosthetic fitting includes measurements, fabrication of a test socket, manufacturing, fitting, alignment, and physiotherapist-supervised gait training. Below-knee and above-knee prosthetic treatment is typically completed within one week, depending on the individual treatment plan.

International Patient Services

International patient services include airport transfers, accommodation in a 5-star hotel, interpreter support in Arabic, English, and Russian (French and Albanian are also available), prosthetic fitting and adjustment sessions, gait training, manufacturer warranties for prosthetic components, and remote follow-up consultations via WhatsApp after patients return home.
