The staff were really nice. The venue was stunning. What can i say about the restaurant. The food was so fresh and i loved their menu. The spa treatments were amazing. It was quiet and relaxing. The yoga was fun. Met some lovely girls also. When I returned home, I left behind a piece of jewellery. They took a photo ,notified me straight away and sent it back to me in Australia. Very honest staff and accommodating.

This is an ideal location for relaxation. It’s not on a busy street at all so it’s very quiet and the driveway is gated so it feels very safe but you can also walk to a ton of nearby restaurants and shops. The restaurant onsite is amazing so there’s no need to go walking if you’re just wanting to relax in a luxury hotel. I traded timeshare points from Interval Travel to get this place and super glad I did. I could not be happier!!

I had the pleasure of spending one wonderful week at Mangosteen, participating in the wellness program, and it was truly an incredible experience. The resort is beautifully nestled in nature, offering a peaceful and calming atmosphere that made my stay both relaxing and rejuvenating. The wellness program was thoughtfully designed, and every aspect from the treatments to the yoga sessions,was executed with great care and professionalism. The staff at Mangosteen made all the difference; they were attentive, kind, and always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. A special thank you to Miss Water from the restaurant crew, who provided exceptional service and made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. We felt truly cared for and appreciated every moment spent here. We will definitely return to Mangosteen and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with outstanding hospitality.

Wonderful stay at Mangosteen Wellness Resort! We enjoyed our lovely villa (with hammock) and the beautiful pool so much, we didn’t bother to go too often into town. We appreciated they have free shuttles to beach and night market. The restaurant food both Thai and Western was great! We weren’t there for the Aruvedic experience so don’t have an opinion about that menu or offerings, but the people I talked to who were doing that, also mentioned they thought it was all good. The entire staff were friendly, gracious and good at their jobs. Being situated in the hillside, the landscaping allowed a fresh breeze to be enjoyed even when so hot in town.

This was going to be the highlight of our Thailand adventure. Having worked in the holistic world for over 20 years I was beyond excited. However - could not have been more disappointed. When we walked in the pool looked great - but straight away steps and wobbly paths made walking all the way down to our room - which was in the back of beyond dark and really unpleasant location, very uncomfortable and in the dark quite high risk. However once we got in the room and realised the outside bathroom had ZERO mosquito protection that was a deal breaker. If we had braved it for a shower we would have been eaten alive - they were everywhere. Impossible not to let them in when you go back into the room. We were told in no uncertain terms we would have to pay extra for an inside bathroom. Not the Thai attitude to service we had experienced for three weeks travelling round this beautiful country. The owner is not Thai and that’s reflected in the way all the staff act. A real culture shock from what we had come to know and love about Thai hospitality. Just very curt responses and an offer of a slight discount to upgrade. I really feel it’s a health hazard especially as putting mosquito nets up would be so inexpensive. We got the feel making money is their top priority over and above guest relations. Decided not to stay as the thought of being covered in bites unless we paid more money was an insult. Cut our losses and booked somewhere else and of course no refund for even the treatments we had paid upfront for and not used.
