I was scheduled for hemithyroidectomy here last Friday. However, because the doctors found something malignant, I ended up having my entire thyroid removed. Throughout the entire process I felt in extremely capable hands.
The day before the surgery, I had some tests done and talked to my doctors which helped me deal with my nerves. The day of the surgery, I arrived early in the morning and was shown to my room where I prepared and then quickly went down to the theater where Dr Hohenbleicher operated on me. Everyone was nice and professional and my surgeries went extremely well. Did not have any pain and was able to walk a few hours after my second surgery.
Due to the great care I received in station 4, I got better very quickly and am already back home two days after the procedure with a surprisingly small scar. The food was really good and the nurses were also very nice! Big thanks to everyone involved. I can only recommend this clinic to anyone looking to get thyroid surgery as there is probably not a better place to get it.

One of the best hospitals in Munich and probably in Germany. You are in safe hands there. I would specially highlight Dr. Thomas Negele who takes so much care about his patients.

I had my second tonsilectomy (20 years apart) in this hospital and I am so thankfull I ended up here. The doctors are very competent and they walked me through the entire process. Also, from the first visit, a senior doctor came to do a check-up. After the surgery, they personally came to check and explained what happend and the next steps. During this time, the entire stuff has been extremely helpful, especially the ones in the inpatient - they constantly came to check and make sure I have everything I need. I had to hospitalise again after one week because of an infection, and even then they took me over immediately, in less than an hour from coming to the ER I was hospitalised, got treatment and started to feel better. A big thank you for the team in this hospital!

Needed a procedure on my sinuses.Had been referred for a pre-procedure consultation and felt very uncomfortable. Conveyor belt approach with the most junior doctors doing everything and the consultant only spending 30 seconds with me and I felt very patronised.
In the end I had the procedure done at Klinikum Grosshadern who took time and did a great job as my local ENT doctor confirmed.

Decided to have surgery for prosthetic knee joints in Germany. Almost 10 years did not move independently, without a wand or crutches. I could not pass more than 100 meters because of pain. We found and contacted the clinic Krankenhaus Martha-Maria Halle-Dölau. They informed us about the cost, the order of treatment. We agreed, received an estimate from the clinic, and an estimate for the rehabilitation. The treatment was conducted very well, the doctors are the masters. The staff in the clinic is very good. The operation itself is complecated, and the recovery process is not fast. But I can already move by myself!
