He is MD from The Hebrew University Jerusalem, Hadassah Medical School and holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration from The Ben-Gurion University in the Negev, School of Management, Department of Health Systems Management. He is certified by the Israeli Orthopedic and general surgery board, certified in aviation medicine, and has attended AO Advanced Course: Advances in fracture treatment, Leeds and Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor course.
