He also served as Treasurer of KSC and as Organizing Committee Chair of ENCORE SEOUL.
Yang Young-Joon, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and Director of the Joint Center. He treats knee and shoulder disorders, sports injuries, foot and ankle problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, and fractures and other trauma. Prof. Heo is a leading neurologist in South Korea specializing in epilepsy treatment. He is the head of the Neurology Department at Yonsei Severance Hospital and a graduate of Yonsei University College of Medicine. He is a member of The Korean Epilepsy Society, The Korean Neurological Association, and The Korea Medical Association.
Dr. Kang Shin-Hyuk is a prominent Neurosurgeon in Seoul, South Korea with over 25+ years of experience in the field. His research interests include brain and spinal tumor, degenerative spinal disease, cervical vertebrae diseases, tumor diseases and injury in the vertebrae and spinal cord, and more. Dr. Kang Shin-Hyuk has published several presentations on spinal and brain tumors and other related topics in seminars and journals, and has won several awards in the field. He has demonstrated that hypoxia-induced Stat3 activity contributes to HIF-1, VEGF, MMP-2, and Twist expression in human glioblastoma.
