Prof. Dr. Cemal Asım Kutlu is a leading thoracic surgeon based in Istanbul, specializing in lung transplantation, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and advanced airway procedures. He currently serves as Head of the Thoracic Surgery Department at Central Hospital and has pioneered severa firsts in Turkey, including the first successful lung transplantation, robotic lobectomy, and Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion (EVLP).
