Darius Jauniskis

Education:

In 1997, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University.

From 1997 to 1998, he completed his primary residency at Vilnius City University Hospital.

From 1998 to 2002, he completed a residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Republican Vilnius University Hospital.

From 2002 to 2004, he completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics, Central филиал (Centro branch).

Professional Experience:

He has been practicing since 1997.

An experienced specialist, he performs approximately 400 surgeries per year.

He currently works at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Darius Jauniškis continuously develops his professional qualifications and has undertaken training in Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Spain, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, the USA, Romania, Germany, Brazil, and Sweden. He regularly participates in national and international seminars and conferences.

In 1996, he was awarded a prize by the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences for his scientific work titled “Measurement of Screw Pull-Out Strength in Pelvic Bones.”

Memberships:

He is a full member of the Lithuanian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a member of the Lithuanian Society for Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation “Manus Lithuanica.”

He served as President of “Manus Lithuanica” for two terms from 2007 to 2013.
