Dr Arnulf Ferlitsch

Dr. Ferlitsch is the leading specialist in his working field. Prof. Ferlitsch completed his medical studies in Vienna in 1998. Between 2000 and 2006, he completed an internship at the Vienna General Hospital in the field of internal medicine. From 2006 to 2008, the doctor was trained as an additional specialist in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Vienna General Hospital, and from 2008 to 2010 - also as a specialist in internal resuscitation.

• 1992-1998 Medical studies at the University of Vienna with training period at UCLA (1 month), Los Angeles and University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (3 months) 

• 1999-2000 research assistant at the Department of Gastroenterology / Interventional Endoscopy 

• 2000-2006 training as a specialist in internal medicine 

• 2006-2008 additional specialist in gastroenterology and hepatology 

• 2008-2010 additional specialist in internal intensive care medicine 

• 2003 establishment and management of the hepatic hemodynamics laboratory and the outpatient clinic for cirrhosis of the liver at the Medical University of Vienna
