  • Javier Toro, MD is an interventional pain physician. He completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in interventional pain medicine and palliative care at CES University. Dr. Toro is active in multiple national societies and is involved in research. He is Associate Professor in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at CES University, passionate about teaching and advancing the field of regenerative medicine. He has done over 5,000 interventional analgesic procedures under ultrasound and/or fluoroscopy guidance. He has performed over 100 percutaneous spinal neurostimulation system implants

Anesthetic care for outpatients and inpatients. Care for patients with acute and chronic pain. Transitional pain service: identification, management, and follow-up of patients at high risk for developing chronic postoperative pain. Advanced pain management therapy, continuous regional anesthesia. Image-, ultrasound-, and fluoroscopy-guided analgesic interventions. Outpatient evaluation and management of patients with chronic cancer and non-cancer pain. Implantation of intrathecal therapy pumps and spinal neurostimulation systems.
