Dr. Zhang took part in two NSFC projects, served as principal investigator for one Fujian Provincial NSFC project, and led two Xiamen Municipal key projects. Dr. Zhang is chief editor of one monograph and co-editor of three. Dr. Zhang has published more than 30 papers, including six in SCI journals.

Standing Committee Member of the East China Regional Nephrology Cooperation Committee.
