Dr. Nezih Onur Ermerak is a Thoracic Surgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–). He previously worked in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Marmara University (2009–2025). He also served at Kilis State Hospital during compulsory service and war surgery (2015–2017).

He completed a Thoracic Surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis (2019–2020). He then completed a Thoracic & Esophageal Surgery fellowship at Dalhousie University (2020–2022).
