He is a member of several respected organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS).

Dr. Kavalcıoğlu has attended many international conferences, such as the Congress of the European Society of Ophthalmology, World Glaucoma Congress, and Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology. He is dedicated to ongoing professional development and high standards in patient care.

Dr. Akin Akyurt is an experienced ophthalmologist. He graduated from Istanbul University School of Medicine. He completed advanced fellowships at University Eye Clinics in Cologne and Tuebingen, Germany. He also holds a PhD focused on immunomodulatory therapy for uveitis.
