Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.
She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, the Hernia Society, the Turkish HPB Surgery Association, the Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies Association, and the Gastroesophageal Reflux Association.

Professor Burhan Mayir isespecially interested in metabolic and bariatric surgery, also. He performs single port (scarless) sleeve gastrectomy, gastric by pass procedures and revisional bariatric surgeries. He has experience about metabolic-bariatric surgery, gastro-esophagus reflux surgery, endoscopic thyroid surgery (scarless thyroidectomy), cancer surgery, hernia surgery, adrenal gland surgery, other gastrointestinal surgical procedures, liver surgery, spleen surgery, hemorrhoid surgery and anal fissure surgery. He has speeches in various congresses and meetings, over 60 articles published in national and international refereed journals, and over 100 abstracts presented at congresses.
Vahit Onur Gül graduated from the Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1998. He became a general surgeon specialist in 2009 and a general surgery associate professor in 2020. He served as a military doctor in almost every city in our country. He received training in robotic surgery in the USA and microsurgery in Switzerland. He participated in many advanced laparoscopic surgery courses both domestically and internationally. He presented numerous oral and written papers at conferences and meetings both domestically and internationally. He has extensive experience in robotic and laparoscopic colon, stomach, and rectal cancer surgery, thyroid and breast surgery. He is currently serving at Ankara Koru Hospital. Dr. Ersin Öztürk, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine and an expert in General Surgery. His specialties include Surgical Oncology, Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery, Obesity Surgery, Hernia Surgery, and Proctology. He holds a Ph.D. in Physiology. Dr. Öztürk completed his residency at Uludağ University and later conducted advanced research at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA.
He is currently a Professor at Medicana Bursa Hospital. Dr. Öztürk has also served as Assistant and Associate Professor at Uludağ University and as Professor at KTO Karatay University. He is known for his important work in surgical innovation and medical education in Turkey.
Dr. Ali Kagan Gokakin is a skilled General Laparoscopic Surgeon. Dr. Mustafa Sıtkı Yüksel is an experienced general surgeon. He specializes in obesity and metabolic surgery. He also performs advanced laparoscopic and cancer-related operations. Dr. Yüksel has completed over 2,000 bariatric surgeries. He has also performed many general surgery procedures, such as umbilical hernia repair, nephrectomy, small intestine resection, and thyroidectomy.
Dr. Yüksel received national board recognition in 2005 and 2016. He is a member of the Turkish Surgery Association, Colorectal Surgery Association, and Minimally Invasive Surgery Association. These memberships show his dedication to professional growth and high standards in his field.
