Dr. Batur Gonenc Kanar is a leading cardiologist with training from top European centers. He studied at the Paris Institute of Cardiology, Hôpital Privé Jacques Cartier in France, and Royal Brampton & Harefield Hospital in the UK. He specializes in advanced electrophysiology. His expertise includes 3D-mapping-guided ablation for atrial fibrillation, catheter ablation, pacemaker implantation, ICD, and CRT therapy.

Dr. Kanar currently practices at Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul. He brings international experience to Turkey and has performed over 1,000 electrophysiology and interventional procedures. He represents Türkiye at the European Heart Rhythm Association. He is also an active member of the European Society of Cardiology and the Turkish Cardiology Association. Dr. Kanar ensures his patients have access to the latest advances in cardiac care.

Dr. Krishna Iyer is one of India's front ranking paediatric cardiac surgeons, recognised for his clinical expertise and wide ranging involvement with cardiac care for children in India and other developing nations, Dr. Iyer initiated the first dedicated paediatric cardiac care program in Northern India , a pioneering initiative, at Escorts Heart Institute Research Centre( now Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute ) in 1995. Under his guidance this paediatric cardiac program has become the benchmark for cardiac care for children for India and its South East Asian neighbours. Dr. Iyer has operated on more than 10,000 babies, children and adults with congenital heart diseases comprising various procedures like arterial switch procedure, double switch operation TAPVC repairs, Fontan and Fontan type procedures, corrections for tetralogy of Fallot, DORV, Truncus etc. Senning operation, conduit repairs and wide range of one stage and multi-stage corrections for complex congenital heart diseases. He has done original work on rapid two-stage arterial switch procedure and performed the first successful rapid two stage arterial switch and double-switch operation in India. His current interests are perfecting complex neonatal cardiac surgery, cardiac surgery in malnourished infants and children, salvaging late presenters of congenital heart disease, and developing cost effective cardiac care for children in developing countries. After basic training, he joined the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at AIIMS and was Additional Professor at the time he moved to Escorts Heart Institute to set up its paediatric cardiac care division. He trained in paediatric and infant cardiac surgery under the guidance of the renowned paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. R.B.B.Mee as Senior Fellow at the Department of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery at Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne in Australia in 1989. He is involved in many charities for underprivileged children, most notably the 'Gift of Life' program of Rotary International.

He completed his medical education in 2010. He worked as a General Practitioner in Van’s Özalp district due to the state service obligation between 2010 and 2011.

Between 2011 and 2016, Doctor Mehmet completed his specialization in Cardiology at Cumhuriyet University in Cardiology Department.

Professor Dr. Cenap Zeybek is a respected Pediatric Cardiologist known for his skill in advanced heart procedures. He became an Associate Professor in 2011. In 2017, he was promoted to Professor. This shows his expertise and leadership in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Zeybek has performed many complex surgeries, such as heart valve replacements, open heart operations, and interventional procedures. Born in Ankara in 1980, he received his primary and secondary education in Artvin, his hometown. He graduated from Inebolu High School in 1997 and started studying at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine the same year. He received his Medical Doctor degree in 2003 and ranked high in the medical specialization exam the same year.

He started his cardiology specialization education in the Department of Cardiology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and became a cardiology specialist in 2008.

He served as an interventional cardiologist in Rize Education and Research Hospital during his mandatory service.

He worked in the field of electrophysiology with Prof. Dr. Remzi Karaoğuz at Ankara Güven Hospital. He became an Associate Professor in January 2014 and a Professor in 2023.

Throughout his academic career, he has published many scientific publications that have been published nationally and internationally and have received high citations. He provides patent and consultancy services for medical engineering in addition to clinical medical education and treatment services. He is a member of national and international scientific societies. He is currently working in interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fields in the Cardiology Clinic at Ankara Koru Çukurambar Hospital.

Prof. Savini specializes in Mitral restorative surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Percutaneous aortic valve, Thoracic Aortic Surgery, Atrial Fibrillation Surgery, Cardiac Transplant and Decompensation Surgery, and extracorporeal circulation and myocardial protection.

In 1994 Prof. Savini graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna with full marks, where he later specialized in Cardiac Surgery with a thesis in Myocardial protection. In 2017 he completed a PhD research in the field of Surgical Treatment of Aortic Valve Stenosis – Role of new technologies.

Dr. Engin Bozkurt is a Professor of Medicine who specializes in Cardiology. He graduated from Erzurum Atatürk University School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his cardiology residency in 1997. Dr. Bozkurt has founded and led Cardiology Departments at Rize University and Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.

He has over 30 years of experience in clinical care and academic work. Dr. Bozkurt has made important contributions to cardiology practice and education in Turkey. The prof. Giuseppe Speziale holds the positions of the National Coordinator of Cardiac Surgery of GVM Care & Research, the Director of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Anthea Hospital and Città di Lecce Hospital, and Director of the Department of Cardiac Surgery of the Santa Maria Hospital. He works at the Cardiological Clinical Institute (ICC) and San Carlo di Nancy Hospital in Rome. Since 2011 he has also held the position of Vice President of GVM Care & Research. In 2012 he occupied the charge of President of Confindustria Puglia, Health Section, and since 2018 he is Vice President of Aiop Puglia (Italian association of private hospitals). The prof. Speziale is a cardiac surgeon specializing in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of valve diseases, expert in minimally invasive repair of the mitral valve, in On and Off Pump myocardial revascularization, in thoracic aortic surgery. He is Co - Founder and President of the Scientific Committee of Mitral Academy, an independent association born from the passion for mitral surgery and the desire to pursue and share excellence in restorative surgery, with particular attention to minimally invasive techniques and the evaluation of potential therapeutic treatments deriving from the use of new technologies. Until 2016 he was elected Director of the Italian Society of Cardiac Surgery. He is part of the following associations: AATS (American Association for Thoracic Surgery), Italian Society of Cardiology Accredited Hospital, SICOA (active member), ISMICS (International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery). He was an adjunct professor at the Sapienza University of Rome where he held the Chair of Cardiology II, and at the University of Ferrara, where he teaches Cardiac Surgery.
