Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.

She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, the Hernia Society, the Turkish HPB Surgery Association, the Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies Association, and the Gastroesophageal Reflux Association.

Dr. Felix Dobritoiu is a thoracic surgeon at Ponderas Academic Hospital. He specializes in minimally invasive and robotic procedures for adults and children. He performs robotic thoracic surgery with the da Vinci Xi system. He also uses video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), including uniportal VATS. These methods use small incisions for faster recovery.

His practice includes mediastinoscopy and bronchoscopy. He performs complex lung and mediastinal resections. He also offers sternochondroplasty (Nuss and reversed Nuss). In selected cases, he can perform minimally invasive procedures without postoperative pleural drainage.

Dr. Philipp Riss is the Team Leader in Surgical Endocrinology at the Medical University of Vienna. He specializes in general and visceral surgery. Dr. Riss earned his Doctorate in Medicine in 2005. He is a Senior Physician and a University Professor. He leads the Surgical Endocrinology Working Group. Dr. Riss has also organized several major international congresses.

He has received the Venia Docendi Award and the Sandoz Award for Thyroid Research. Dr. Riss is a member of leading societies, such as the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons and the International Society of Surgery. He also serves on advisory boards for neuroendocrine and endocrine surgery in Austria.

Dr. Eduardo Leal Villarreal is a board-certified surgeon. He specializes in Phlebology, Lymphology, and Orthopedics. He has over 15 years of clinical experience. He is known for treating venous diseases and sports injuries. He uses advanced and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Leal Villarreal has performed many procedures. These include umbilical hernia repair, small intestine resection, lumpectomy, hemorrhoidectomy, and colectomy. He also performs sclerotherapy for varicose veins, thyroidectomy, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, lipoma removal, and varicose vein stripping. He has experience about metabolic-bariatric surgery, gastro-esophagus reflux surgery, endoscopic thyroid surgery (scarless thyroidectomy), cancer surgery, hernia surgery, adrenal gland surgery, other gastrointestinal surgical procedures, liver surgery, spleen surgery, hemorrhoid surgery and anal fissure surgery. Dr. Ali Solmaz graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He completed his General Surgery residency in 2007. In 2017, he received his Associate Professorship Certificate in General Surgery. Dr. Solmaz specializes in bariatric and metabolic surgeries. His expertise includes gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, revisional obesity surgery, and diabetes surgery.

He is skilled in minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repairs. Dr. Solmaz treats a wide range of gastrointestinal, endocrine, and proctological conditions. He is known for his expertise, patient satisfaction, and dedication to surgical excellence.

Vahit Onur Gül graduated from the Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1998. He became a general surgeon specialist in 2009 and a general surgery associate professor in 2020. He served as a military doctor in almost every city in our country. He received training in robotic surgery in the USA and microsurgery in Switzerland. He participated in many advanced laparoscopic surgery courses both domestically and internationally. He presented numerous oral and written papers at conferences and meetings both domestically and internationally. He has extensive experience in robotic and laparoscopic colon, stomach, and rectal cancer surgery, thyroid and breast surgery. He is currently serving at Ankara Koru Hospital.
