Intervento di ginecomastia in clinic Dr. Marcelo Moreira

Established in 2019, the clinic of Dr. Marcelo Moreira is a private plastic surgery practice in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The facility focuses on aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. A medical team of two specialists provides individualized surgical planning.

Accreditations and Professional Background

Dr. Marcelo Moreira holds full membership in the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP). He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Dr. Moreira completed an observer fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He also finished a microsurgery fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (INCa) in Brazil.

The clinic uses detailed safety protocols to manage surgical risks. Specialists perform pre-operative abdominal wall ultrasound for liposuction patients to identify hernias. This step reduces the risk of intestinal perforation during the procedure.

Aesthetic and Reconstructive Specialties

The clinic offers surgical options for facial and body enhancement. Surgeons perform facelifts to reposition deep tissues. Mini-facelifts are available for patients with mild laxity. Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) uses incisions placed in natural folds to hide scars.

Body contouring services address various patient needs through several methods:

• Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) available in four variations based on skin and fat excess
• Lipo HD for high-definition muscle contouring
• Gynecomastia surgery to remove male breast tissue via periareolar incisions
• Gluteoplasty using silicone implants for buttocks augmentation
• Brachioplasty (arm lift) often combined with liposuction

Reconstructive capabilities include complex microsurgery for transferring healthy tissue to damaged areas. Specialists perform breast reconstruction and reconstructive facial nerve surgery. They also provide nose repair for patients with congenital conditions or injuries.

Functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty addresses both appearance and breathing issues. Surgeons treat deviated septums and enlarged turbinates during the same operation. This combined approach resolves structural blockage while reshaping the nose profile.

Advanced Technologies and Skin Quality

The clinic uses specialized platforms for non-surgical rejuvenation and tissue remodeling. These technologies improve skin firmness without the recovery time of traditional surgery.

Available treatment technologies include:

• Morpheus8 – fractional micro-needling with radiofrequency to tighten deep skin layers
• CO2 laser resurfacing – stimulates collagen and treats pigmentation or scars
• Vaser – ultrasound-assisted technology for precise fat emulsification in liposuction
• Retraction technology – applied for targeted deep-tissue remodeling

Microsurgery techniques allow high-precision reconstructive work. The surgeon reconnects tiny blood vessels and nerves under a microscope. This precision is essential for successful tissue transfers in breast and facial reconstruction.

Services for International Patients

The clinic communicates with international patients in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Surgeons provide detailed post-operative guidance for safe recovery. This includes instructions on compression garments and activity levels after surgery.

Preparation begins with a medical evaluation before the patient arrives. Specialists assess blood tests, BMI, and lifestyle factors to plan surgical timing. This screening confirms the patient is fit for anesthesia and travel.
