Specialization and Sleep Medicine
Dr. O'Connor Reina treats sleep respiratory disorders and performs head and neck surgery. These procedures include surgery for hearing loss, sleep apnea, nasal polyps, and deviated septums. He also performs cochlear implants, tympanoplasty, and voice surgery.
The specialist introduced myofunctional therapy to Spanish sleep units to treat obstructive sleep apnea. This therapy provides a way to improve muscle function in the airway.
