Wang Wei

Wang Wei is a specialist at the clinic and focuses on facial paralysis repair and microsurgical peripheral nerve reconstruction. He is an International Facial Nerve Association director (Sir Charles Bell Society Board of directors) and has awards including Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (Third Class) in 2003, PSEF (American Society of Plastic Surgeons Education Foundation) first place in a 2007 clinical paper competition, and a 2015 innovation award from the Chinese Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Medicine. His work includes smile expression reconstruction after facial paralysis, comprehensive eyelid closure function repair, and micro-surgical approaches for difficult-to-heal corneal ulcers in coordination with the Ghent/九院 ophthalmology team (as listed).
