Since 2007 I have been the Head of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology at the Quirons Hospital in Barcelona.

I am a co-author of the books "Basic Handbook of Implantology" and "Advanced Implant Surgery". I have also written numerous book chapters and scientific journal articles.

I have also taught numerous courses and conferences at national and international events.

Until 2007, I dedicated my career to community medicine at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, where I was responsible for the training of resident physicians who had completed their training there. I also worked as a teacher for undergraduate students.

Il medico è il Direttore e Fondatore della Clinica Oculistica presso il Centro Médico Teknon, specializzato in chirurgia implantare-refrattiva. Pioniere nel trattamento laser dei disturbi oftalmici in Spagna, il medico è stato il primo nel paese a correggere la miopia con un laser ad eccimeri e a impiantare lenti in collamero per errori refrattivi. Specializzato in terapie per tutti i tipi di malattie oculari, il medico è un esperto nel trattamento del glaucoma e della cataratta utilizzando tecniche chirurgiche e microvalvole.

Laureato all'Università di Barcellona con una specializzazione in oftalmologia, il medico ha tenuto oltre 100 conferenze sulle nuove tecniche nella chirurgia della cataratta e refrattiva.

A specialist in the digestive system through MIR from the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Barcelona, he received his PhD from the University of Barcelona.

He completed his postgraduate training in the Gastroenterology Service of the Barcelona Hospital Clinic and then in the Department of Gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), where he conducted cutting-edge research on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis).
