Aleksandra Starosciak

A graduate of the Medical Academy in Warsaw. Since 2009, she has been a specialist in general surgery and is currently undergoing specialization in surgical oncology. Since 2010, she has been associated with the Department of Oncological Surgery at the Holy Family Hospital in Warsaw. She is a member of the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology.

She has participated in numerous scientific and training conferences in the fields of general surgery, oncology, plastic surgery, and breast ultrasound. She performs breast surgery procedures, soft tissue surgeries (e.g., removal of skin lesions, atheromas, and scars), as well as endocrine surgery procedures (malignant thyroid tumors and benign thyroid nodules).

She is also involved in the diagnosis of breast diseases and performs ultrasound-guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsies (mammotome biopsies), core needle biopsies, and fine-needle aspiration biopsies of breast lesions.
