Born in Trabzon in 1982, Prof. Yusuf Yıldırım completed his high school education at Kanuni Anatolian High School and earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He pursued his residency at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital, where he contributed to clinical trials on age-related macular degeneration and myopia treatment. Dr. Ihsan Yilmaz is a respected retina specialist. He treats retinal detachment, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, and performs complex macular surgeries. He has completed hundreds of successful vitreoretinal procedures. Dr. Yilmaz is also skilled in advanced Excimer Laser vision correction, including Lasik, PRK, and No-touch techniques. His work has helped many patients regain clear vision without glasses.

Dr. Yilmaz trained at the Vance Thompson Vision Center in the U.S. He combines advanced American surgical methods with Turkish medical practice. He holds accreditation from the European Board of Ophthalmology. He also serves on the TOA Young Ophthalmologists Executive Board. Dr. Yilmaz is a member of organizations such as ARVO, AAO, and ASCRS. He is dedicated to academic excellence and innovation in ophthalmology.
