Dr. Alexandre Charão is an award-winning plastic surgeon who operates his own practice in Laranjeiras, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He is certified by the D’Or Network and Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, and has worked with Doctors Without Borders on over 10 global missions. In 2006, he won a GLOBO Award for his work outside of Brazil. While serving in the Brazilian Air Force, Dr. Alexandre headed the Plastic Surgery Clinic of the Air Force Central Hospital in 2010. Since 2011, she has been continuing her research in the field of dermatology. She worked as a dermatology specialist at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital between 2016-2021, and worked as the administrative officer of Şişli Etfal EAH dermatology department between 2018-2019.

In 2015, she was accepted with a scholarship from the Cosmetic Surgery forum held in Las Vegas.
