Prof. Amos Toren, MD, PhD, MHA, is a pediatric hemato-oncologist and BMT specialist. He served as Director of Pediatric Hemato-Oncology and BMT at Sheba Medical Center.

He is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Hemato-Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation. He holds a PhD in Human Genetics. He was Head of the Hematology Division at Tel Aviv University for two terms. He is a member of ASH, COG, ESPHI, EBMT, and CIBMTR. He also serves on the Ministry of Health Cord Blood Committee.

He led one of Israel’s most advanced pediatric oncology and BMT programs. The program treated children and young adults. His focus includes leukemia and lymphoma, immunodeficiencies, and rare cancers. He specializes in BMT and CAR T-cell therapy.

His translational research covers CAR T cells, cytokine-induced killer cells, pediatric brain tumors, and targeted therapies. He has worked with St. Anna, the NIH, and St. Jude. His publications include studies on pediatric SCT prophylaxis and PARP resistance.

Dr. Gokhan Yilmaz is an experienced general surgeon with nearly 20 years in medical practice. He is known for his skill in complex surgical procedures. He earned his Master’s Degree from Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his Doctorate in General Surgery at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey’s leading institutions.

Prof. Zvi Cohen is Director of the Neurosurgery Department and the Neuro-Oncology Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is a neurosurgeon and neuro-oncology expert. He was included in Forbes Israel’s Best Doctors 2025. He leads clinical research on drug therapies for malignant brain tumors. He also founded Sheba’s brain tumor tissue bank.

Il dottore si è laureato alla Scuola di Medicina Çapa dell'Università di Istanbul nel 1998 e ha completato una residenza in Radiodiagnostica e Radiologia Interventistica presso la Scuola di Medicina Cerrahpaşa nel 2002. Specializzandosi in Radiologia Diagnostica e Teleradiologia, nonché in Radiologia Interventistica, il dottore ha partecipato a 12 congressi locali e uno internazionale, contribuendo con numerose presentazioni orali e scritte. Dr. Rahib Hasanov is a medical oncologist. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1999–2005). He completed an internal medicine residency (2009–2013) and a medical oncology fellowship at Marmara University (2015–2018). He also completed an observership at Houston Methodist Hospital (2006–2007).

He focuses on personalized oncology. His treatments include immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and novel agents. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal, breast, lung, and genitourinary cancers.

Dr. Oktay Karadeniz, MD, is a radiologist. He graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in 1992. He completed specialty training in Radiodiagnostics at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 1999. He worked at Memorial Hospital from 1999 to 2005. He has been a radiologist at Anadolu Medical Center since 2005.

Clinical focus: musculoskeletal imaging; cardiovascular imaging; oncologic imaging; neuroradiology. Prof. Dr. Sezer Sağlam is a medical oncologist at Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital. He specializes in gastrointestinal and breast cancers. He has contributed to cancer care through research, especially with his study on the best timing for surgery after neoadjuvant therapy in rectal cancer. This work has influenced global treatment protocols.

Dr. Sağlam has led clinical trials in targeted therapies and precision medicine. His research on liver-transplanted patients with hepatocellular carcinoma was nominated for the 2024 International Best Researcher Award. He is a member of ASCO, ESMO, and ENET. Dr. Sağlam provides personalized and evidence-based oncology care.
